Add the Allinaa chatbot to a Strikingly site
Written by the Allinaa team · Updated
Strikingly sites have a custom code box in the site settings, and vendor guides place it under the analytics and SEO or advanced settings, available on paid plans. We could not cite a Strikingly help page for it, so the steps below name no exact label and point you to Strikingly's help for the final word. The check at the end tells you whether it worked.
What is confirmed
Only this: the Allinaa assistant is one script tag, it works from a site-wide header or footer code box on any builder that has one, and Strikingly is reported to have such a box on its paid plans. The menu names and the exact plan are the two things to confirm in your platform's help. If you prefer not to search, send the code to your developer from your cabinet.
Get your code
The line comes from your Allinaa cabinet. After you sign up at bot.allinaa.com/start and approve the knowledge the wizard drafts from your public pages, step 5 of the wizard shows it, and the Overview keeps it under "Website installation":
<script src="https://bot.allinaa.com/widget.js" data-bot-id="your-bot-id" defer></script>Step by step
- Open your site in the Strikingly editor and go to the site's settings.
- Find the custom code area; vendor guides place it with the analytics, SEO or advanced settings. For the exact place, check in your platform's help.
- Paste your code into the header code box, or the footer box if there is one, and save.
- Publish the site so the change goes live.
One-page Strikingly sites
Many Strikingly sites are a single long page with sections. The assistant does not care: it is added once, and its page-aware answers read the visible text of the page, so a visitor asking "what does the premium package include" while looking at your pricing section gets an answer that fits. Approve the details in your cabinet's knowledge so the answer is complete; see how the knowledge works.
Check the installation
- Open the published site, not the editor, in a private browser window.
- Look for the chat button in a bottom corner, then open a second page.
- Ask something your approved knowledge covers.
- In your Allinaa cabinet click Check my site: it reads your homepage and up to two pages it links to and answers found, not found or unreachable.
If the button does not appear
- Not published after saving the settings.
- The box is missing on your plan. Check in your platform's help; the hosted chat page described in the Google Sites guide works on any plan as a link.
- Pasted as text in a section. Use the code box in the settings.
