Add the Allinaa chatbot to a Hostinger Website Builder site
Written by the Allinaa team · Updated
Hostinger's website builder has a custom code setting documented by Hostinger itself, and it places scripts at the end of the body, which is where the Allinaa line belongs anyway. The installation is three steps and a republish. This guide follows Hostinger's help page and explains why the republish matters.
Custom code, per Hostinger's help
Hostinger's article How to integrate custom code describes the setting: in the builder, the More menu (three dots), then Integrations, then Custom code. Scripts added there go to the end of the body section of every page, and the site must be republished for the change to go live.
Get your code
You need your own code first. Sign up at bot.allinaa.com/start for the 14-day free trial, confirm your e-mail and follow the setup wizard; step 5, "Install", shows one line:
<script src="https://bot.allinaa.com/widget.js" data-bot-id="your-bot-id" defer></script>Step by step
- Open your website in the Hostinger Website Builder.
- Open the More menu (the three dots), then Integrations, then Custom code.
- Paste your code and save. Hostinger adds it to the end of the body on every page.
- Update (republish) the website. Until you do, visitors see the previous version.
Plans
Hostinger's article as we read it names no plan requirement for custom code. If the Custom code entry is missing from your Integrations menu, check in your platform's help rather than assuming a fault.
Hostinger hosting with WordPress
This guide is for the Hostinger Website Builder. If your site on Hostinger runs WordPress instead, the builder's menus do not apply; follow the WordPress guide, which uses the ready-made plugin from your cabinet. Not sure which you have? A WordPress site has a WP Admin dashboard at your domain followed by /wp-admin/.
Check the installation
Check from both sides. As a visitor: open the live site in a private window, look for the button in a bottom corner and open a second page, so you know it is not limited to one. From Allinaa: click Check my site in the cabinet; it reads your homepage and up to two linked pages and answers found, not found or unreachable. The status also turns to installed by itself the first time the assistant loads on a page of your site.
If the button is missing right after you saved, the most likely cause is that the site was not updated (republished). The troubleshooting page lists the rest.
