Add the Allinaa chatbot to a Duda site

Written by the Allinaa team · Updated

Most Duda websites are built and maintained by a web agency rather than by the business itself, so the fastest way to get the Allinaa assistant on one is often to hand the agency the code. If you edit the site yourself, the route is the site-wide head HTML area that third-party guides describe. Both are below, with what is confirmed and what is not.

Route 1: let your agency add it

In your Allinaa cabinet, under "Website installation", enter your agency's e-mail address and click Send the code. The agency receives one e-mail with your line of code and the platform guides. The line holds no password or key, so it is safe to forward. You can send it up to five times a day. The details of that route are on the developer hand-off page. Tell the agency it is one script tag for every page, before the closing body tag or in the site-wide head area, and that nothing else is needed.

Get your code

You need your own code first. Sign up at bot.allinaa.com/start for the 14-day free trial, confirm your e-mail and follow the setup wizard; step 5, "Install", shows one line:

<script src="https://bot.allinaa.com/widget.js" data-bot-id="your-bot-id" defer></script>

Route 2: paste it yourself

  1. Open the site in the Duda editor and go to the site's settings.
  2. Find the site-wide head HTML area (third-party guides place it under the SEO and settings section; for the exact place, check in Duda's help).
  3. Paste the code and save.
  4. Republish the site. In Duda, a saved change reaches visitors only when the site is republished.

We could not cite a Duda help page for this menu, which is why the step names no exact label. Duda's own App Store is a different thing: Duda's app requirements describe apps that load inside Duda with Duda's sign-in, and Allinaa is not listed there, so the code is the route today.

Agencies with many client sites

Each business has its own bot id, and the code differs only in that id. An agency installing the assistant for several clients pastes each client's own line on that client's site. Each client approves its own knowledge in its own cabinet, and conversations stay separate.

Check the installation

Check from both sides. As a visitor: open the live site in a private window, look for the button in a bottom corner and open a second page, so you know it is not limited to one. From Allinaa: click Check my site in the cabinet; it reads your homepage and up to two linked pages and answers found, not found or unreachable. The status also turns to installed by itself the first time the assistant loads on a page of your site.

Other causes are on the troubleshooting page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there an Allinaa app in Duda's App Store?

No. Duda's App Store takes apps built to run inside Duda with Duda's sign-in; Allinaa is added as one script tag.

Where is the head HTML area in Duda?

Third-party guides place it in the site's SEO and settings section. We could not confirm it on a Duda help page, so check in your platform's help.

Can my agency install it without an Allinaa account?

Yes. The agency only needs the line of code, which you send from your cabinet; the knowledge and the inquiries stay in your account.

Does a republish lose the code?

No. The site-wide head area is part of the site's settings and is republished with it.
