How long does chatbot setup take?

Written by the Allinaa team · Updated

It depends mostly on how ready your information is. With Allinaa you set up the assistant yourself in the setup wizard, on Standard or Premium, with no setup fee, and the team helps if you get stuck. The wizard takes minutes; the delays are almost always on the information side.

Self-service: minutes to a test assistant

Sign-up takes a few minutes, and the setup wizard has six steps; the one worth taking time over is reviewing the knowledge drafted from your website. Every step and what happens when the trial ends is in the free trial, explained, and the website scan is covered in training a chatbot on your website.

Help from the team, at no extra charge

There is no setup fee and no separate setup project. If you get stuck at any step, write to info@allinaa.com or send a support request from your cabinet; every customer gets the same first-response target of one business day. The steps of the wizard and what the team does are on the chatbot setup page.

Premium: available as soon as you sign up

Premium uses the same setup wizard and is available as soon as you sign up, starting with the free trial, so there is no separate Premium setup period. A few Premium options are arranged with the team: bookings into a Google Calendar and leads saved to a Google Sheet are connected with our team at no extra charge (ask us about their current status first: they are not yet part of the verified feature list on these pages), some Premium switches start off and are switched on when you ask, and product search from a photo needs your catalog imported first.

What slows projects down

  • Waiting for information. Prices, policies and service areas that only exist in the owner's head. Writing them down early is the biggest time saver.
  • Review loops. Knowledge drafts that sit unreviewed for a week.
  • Website access. Nobody remembers the login to the website builder, or the developer is busy. The "send to my developer" e-mail helps.
  • Undecided pricing. If you haven't decided how to quote a service, the assistant can't either. "Quote required" is a fine answer.
  • Language testing. Finding a native speaker to check answers can take a few days. Start early.
  • Channel approvals. Messaging apps that need platform approval are not part of a launch timeline today; they become available once the platform approves Allinaa.

The launch checklist lists everything to prepare in one place.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a developer?

Usually not. The install guides cover common website builders, and there is a WordPress plugin. If you have a developer, the wizard can e-mail them the code.

Is there a setup fee or a waiting period for Premium?

No. Premium uses the same self-service setup and is available as soon as you sign up, starting with the free trial. The Premium tools that need our team are connected with you at no extra charge.

What if the e-mail code doesn't arrive?

Check your spam folder, then ask for a new code from the sign-up page. The details are in the free trial guide.
